1. 1000 series aluminum bar represents the 1050, 1060, 1100 series. In all series 1000 series belong to a series with the largest amount of aluminum. The purity can reach more than 99.00%. Because it does not contain other technical elements, the production process is relatively simple and the price is relatively cheap. It is the most commonly used series in conventional industry at present. Most of the 1050 and 1060 series are in circulation. The MINIMUM ALUMINUM CONTENT OF 1000 SERIES IS DETERMINED ACCORDING TO THE LAST TWO Arabic DIGITS OF THE SERIES. For example, the last two Arabic digits of 1050 series are 50. According to the international naming principle, the aluminum content must reach 99.5% or more to be qualified products. China's aluminum alloy technical standard (gB/T3880-2006) also clearly stipulates that the aluminum content of 1050 reaches 99.5%. In the same way, 1060 series aluminum rods must contain more than 99.6 percent aluminum.

2. 2000 series aluminum rod represents 2A16 (LY16), 2A02 (LY6). 2000 series aluminum rod is characterized by high hardness, among which copper content is the highest, about 3-5%. 2000 series aluminum rod belongs to aviation aluminum material, which is not often used in conventional industry.

2024 is a typical duraluminum-alloy in the aluminum-copper-magnesium series. It is a heat-treatable alloy with high strength, easy machining, easy turning and general corrosion resistance.

After heat treatment (T3, T4, T351), the mechanical properties of 2024 aluminum rod are significantly improved. The T3 state parameters are as follows: tensile strength 470MPa, yield strength 325MPa, elongation 10%, fatigue strength 105MPa, hardness 120HB.

Main uses of 2024 aluminum rod: aircraft structure, rivets, truck wheel hub, propeller assembly and other structural parts.

3. 3000 series aluminum rod represents 3003, 3A21 mainly. China 3000 series aluminum rod production technology is excellent. 3000 series aluminum rods are made of manganese as the main component. The content is between 1.0-1.5, which is a series with good rust prevention function.

4. 4000 series aluminum rod represents 4A01 4000 series aluminum rod belongs to the series with higher silicon content. The silicon content is usually between 4.5 and 6.0%. Belongs to construction materials, mechanical parts, forging materials, welding materials; Low melting point, good corrosion resistance, Product Description: Heat resistance, wear resistance.

5. 5000 series aluminum rod represents 5052, 5005, 5083, 5A05 series. 5000 SERIES ALUMINUM ROD belongs to the more commonly used alloy aluminum rod series, the main element is magnesium, magnesium content between 3-5%. Can also be called aluminum magnesium alloy. The main characteristics are low density, high tensile strength, high elongation. The weight of aluminum-magnesium alloy is lower than that of other series under the same area, and it is widely used in conventional industry. In China 5000 series aluminum rod belongs to the more mature aluminum rod series.

6. 6000 series aluminum rod represents 6061, 6063 mainly contains magnesium and silicon two elements, so the advantages of 4000 series and 5000 series are concentrated. 6061 is a cold treatment aluminum forging product, suitable for corrosion resistance, oxidation requirements of high applications. Good usability, easy coating, good processing.

7. 7000 series of aluminum rod represents 7075 mainly contains zinc. Also belongs to the aviation series, is aluminum magnesium zinc copper alloy, is a heat treatable alloy, belongs to the super hard aluminum alloy, has good wear resistance. 8. 8000 series aluminum rod is more commonly used 8011 belongs to other series, most of the application is aluminum foil, the production of aluminum rod is not commonly used.
